Job Description
As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts for our Agile development team. In addition to ensuring that our product meets high standards of quality, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing effective API testing and performance testing practices to ensure that our product is reliable, scalable, and performs optimally under various conditions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the quality assurance efforts for our Agile development team by ensuring that our product meets high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and implement effective API testing practices to ensure that our APIs are reliable and function correctly.
- Collaborate with the development team to create and maintain test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Work closely with the product owners and other stakeholders to ensure that our product meets their requirements and expectations.
- Use automation tools and techniques to streamline testing processes and ensure that testing is as efficient and effective as possible.
- Train and mentor other members of the QA team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
Skills
- At least 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on Agile development, API testing, and performance testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with test automation tools and techniques.
- Experience with performance testing tools, such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum.
